How We Make It: Clean Craft, No Corners Cut
Step 1: Botanical Selection
It starts with the highest quality ingredients and flavors—like juniper berries, gentian root, citrus peels, and rhubarb—sourced for purity, aroma, and flavor impact.
Step 2: Compounding
We compound these flavors into a water base with an eye toward flavor, texture, aromas and ‘booziness’.
Step 3: Precision Blending
Each recipe is layered for balance: bitter and sweet, bright and earthy. Sweetness (when used) comes from natural sweeteners like monk fruit and stevia
Step 4: Final Touches
Every batch is tested for quality and safety in a Clean Label Project Certified facility. The result? A bold, vibrant, zero-proof spirit that’s anything but watered down.

Where It All Began
We’ve been farming and distilling at our little place in Sheridan, Oregon since 1997. We became leaders in the craft spirit movement.
In a plot twist, our founder quit drinking in 2012. He spent 6 years creating the distinctively Dhos flavors, textures, aromas and ‘booziness’. We called the new product ‘Dhos’ (Dose) because we thought you could use it to make a ‘No Dhos’ cocktail or a ‘Low Dhos’ cocktail. We put the ‘H’ in there to make it fancy.
Today Dhos is prized by bartenders for delivering the flavor, texture and booziness to their zero proof and low proof cocktails. Consumers love Dhos because it is delicious, less than 5 calories per serving, Certified Pesticide Free by the Clean Label Project, and crafted with the highest quality ingredients.
